Let’s chat about online coaching; for so many of Let’s chat about online coaching; for so many of my clients they have wanted to work with a personal trainer, but don’t see the benefit of only seeing their trainer once per week to help them reach their goals. 60 minutes per week isn’t much time at all, especially when questions throughout the week might occur, not to mention those days when you feel so under motivated and aren’t seeing your trainer for that added boost.  This is why online coaching is an amazing choice to help with your training and nutrition plan. You get daily support via our chat or WhatsApp, a detailed training plan for as many workouts as you’d like to do in the week, with easy to follow videos for every exercise, as well as, a tailored meal plan, with ingredients breakdown and recipes to follow. I reach out multiple times per day to each of my clients to ensure they are on track for the day, have worked out and aren’t struggling with their mindset. Working out should be fun, so do things you actual Working out should be fun, so do things you actually enjoy, not just because your friend is doing it or because the hot girl on instagram is telling you to do it.  It’s about movement, elevating your heart-rate and strengthening your body. For me, reformer pilates is my go to and since I now have a @lagreerental at home I can train like I did before the pandemic.  I can not tell you how amazing this machine is, it’s like ‘pilates’ on steroids, it’s ever changing moves, dynamic and truly challenges your body head to toe and I have to say when doing this 3-4 times per week I had the best abs of my life.  MY 3 FAVOURITE MOVES  1. Wheelbarrow -  perform for 1.5 minutes 
2. Catfish - perform for 1 minute 
3. Back Platform Lunge to Pike - 1.5 minute lunge to 1 minute pike  You can rent a reformer from @lagreerental starting at £59 per month, which is pretty much the price of 2 pilates classes, BUT do it from the comfort of your home - WIN WIN - DM me for more details.

Okay, so excuse the god damn AWFUL underwear choic Okay, so excuse the god damn AWFUL underwear choices @josh.davies.11 has made (we’ve had words don’t worry, plus he’s the bf so I can be mean 😂), look at the transformation he has made in the last couple of months. Not only physically has he dropped around 10kg, but mentally he has transformed to a healthy, happier version of himself.  He said himself that last summer his life was spiralling out of control, he as a mess having being hit hard by lockdown, no longer playing professional rugby and partying a little bit too hard. He didn’t have the same structure to his days he once did, gyms weren’t open, the local rugby club training had stopped and he couldn’t see his friends like he use to. Food, drink, confinement became the norm and somewhat of a comfort and escape.  Yet he chose to change, he chose to become healthier and he’s been following my coaching programme that has helped him stay on track mentally and physically. It’s the weekend! WOOOOOOOOOOOO So take time t It’s the weekend! WOOOOOOOOOOOO  So take time to switch off from work, engage with friends, go on a walk and implement my first healthy habit - STOP USING PHONES / DEVICES AN HOUR BEFORE BED.  Hands up if you’re guilty of scrolling insta for hours in bed when you should really be trying to get to sleep; oh and you wake up late, tired or in a bad mood because you barely got any sleep. @mytherapistsays and @reveal.memes seem to resonate 10 times more at 1am, so you just have to send it to your best friend, mum, sister, boyfriend, boyfriend’s dog and that sends you into the very known rabbit habit hole. Well, quite simply, DON’T, have the power to put your phone down.  Smart phones were designed to make us more productive and our lives easier. They’re designed to entertain us and provide information. But when it’s time to turn off the lights and go to sleep, the last thing our brain needs is more information and more entertainment. (And that seems fair enough – we give our brains enough to think about during the day!)

Your mind can stay active and engaged long after you’ve scrolled through Instagram or responded to a few work emails. Going to bed and falling asleep should be a peaceful, happy and relaxing experience.

Life does seem to be speeding up, becoming busier, Life does seem to be speeding up, becoming busier, feeling like we need to achieve more; and we are constantly being bombarded by outside influences telling you who you should be and what you should be doing and when you should do it. The months seem to just disappear and before we know it, another new year has begun.  Taking time out to rest and relax not only helps our bodies to have a break, but it is also important for our mental health. It can help you: calm your thoughts down if you have had a busy day or you have a lot going through your mind. Reflect on your day and how it made you feel and rise your vibration.  Begin to notice the smaller things in life, appreciate nature and notice how much happier you become.
