It is always good to keep your cupboard nicely stocked to help avoid those temptations, not only to over indulge, but mainly to help combat large Deliveroo bills! God only knows how much I have spent on take-aways since being in London, but the main reason that amount has racked up has been because I have been so bad at keeping things in the house and couldn’t be bothered to go to the shops late in the evening.
Here are my top base products and essentials, which you can easily build your meals around and add fresh produce to.

1. Coconut oil
2. Quinoa
3. Brown rice
4. Wild rice
5. Pasta
6. Almonds
7. Hemp seeds
8. Chia seeds
9. Pumpkin seeds
10. Olive oil or Rapeseed Oil
11. Dried spices – basil, coriander, parsley, cumin, sage, mint, rosemary, thyme, oregano, ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg, pepper, salt and paprika
12. Chicken (can be easily frozen)
13. Frozen peas / vegetables
14. Frozen berries / fruit
15. Oats
16. Almond / Rice / Cashew nut milk
17. Tomato puree
18. Tinned tomatoes
